2019 Fashion360 Designer | Michelle Frain
Michelle’s passion for sewing budded at the early age of 9 years old, cultivating a lifelong love for textiles and creating wearable pieces.
The majority of her career path took Michelle down the direction of interior design, architectural sales and the marketing sector. Her passion for stitching and creating however, surpassed that of her chosen work life, inspiring the leap of faith to resign from work and study full-time.
The technical skills gained and innovative design challenges presented from her experience at TAFE excited and validated her new life decision. Equipped with the foundations attained as a result of her Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising, alongside her innate creative talent, Michelle is driven to establish a business and brand that is synonymous with refined classy confident women.
Her aesthetic is of clean, simple and feminine lines with forms that support colourful prints and motifs instead of influencing it. Michelle’s dream for her fashion label, Fraim of Mind, is to be an influential Australian-made brand providing thoughtful design which enhances the shape of modern mature women.
