Create Queensland Day | Animation on YouTube, with Griffith Film School and Advance Queensland
November 25, 2016 @ 1:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Are you an animator with your own YouTube channel and want to supercharge it?
YouTube, in partnership with the Queensland Government and Griffith University, invites you to attend a symposium focused on honing creative entrepreneurship for animators.
The symposium will feature animators, large and small, local and international, who are creating names, careers, great work and building audiences through YouTube. They’ll be passing on their experiences, secrets and paths to encourage and avoid.
This YouTube event will explore how animation works on YouTube from the world’s biggest producers to individuals just starting out. There will be lessons in meaningful ways to grow, or better target your audience on YouTube, pro tips and opportunities to connect with other creators from Queensland, Australia and internationally.
Presentations and Panel discussions:
> Sanoop Luke, YouTube Kids and Learning Content, Australia, NZ and SE Asia
> Akshata Udiaver, YouTube Mumbai, on animation in India
> Halfbrick Studios on the forthcoming Fruit Ninja animated series
> Creators from leading YouTube animation channels including Sexual Lobster, Artspear and The Big Lez Show
> Updates from the Creator Originals productions for Elly Awesome and SasEffects
After the symposium everyone is welcome to spend the evening on 7th floor of the QCA for drinks and networking, overlooking the stunning Brisbane River and cityscape.
